Training camp is an opportunity for players to prove to the coaching staff that they’re deserving of a spot on the regular-season roster. Some players have already locked up spots on the team, of course, but others will be battling for positioning on the depth chart.
Heading into camp, there’s a handful of players who must stand out in a big way in order to make the team. They’re squarely on the roster bubble and in danger of being cut in September before the season begins.
