There was almost nothing to like about the Los Angeles Rams’ performance in their first game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. They were blown out on the road, 41-10, suffering their second straight loss to open the year.
The offense gained just 245 total yards and the defense gave up 489, allowing nearly twice the yards that the offense had. The Cardinals took an early lead and never slowed down, putting the Rams in obvious passing situations where the defense could pin its ears back and rush the quarterback.
Sean McVay badly wants to avoid getting swept by the Cardinals when the Rams host their rival on Saturday night, and in order to do so, Los Angeles must correct these five problems that plagued the team in Week 2.
