Injuries haven’t been much of a problem for the Los Angeles Rams in recent weeks, especially after they ravaged the roster earlier in the season. However, there are a couple of concerns heading into Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers.
With a quick turnaround before Thursday night’s game in Santa Clara, there’s some uncertainty surrounding two players: Demarcus Robinson and Cobie Durant.
Sean McVay provided updates on both starters Monday morning and while neither has been ruled out, they’re not certain to play, either. McVay told reporters that Robinson suffered a shoulder sprain in Sunday’s win and though he was able to return to the game, his status is TBD for Thursday night. McVay hopes it doesn’t affect his availability.

As for Durant, he has a lung contusion. His outlook is a bit worse based on the coach’s comments, and if he’s unable to play, the Rams could turn to Emmanuel Forbes at cornerback.

Durant has been a starter for the Rams this season and their most consistent cornerback, so losing him for any amount of time would be significant for the secondary. Forbes is only in his second week with the team and with it being a short week, that doesn’t help.
The Rams have much more depth at wide receiver if Robinson is forced to miss time. Tutu Atwell stepped up in a big way on Sunday with three catches for 45 yards, including the all-important fourth-and-5 reception that went for 11 yards late in the game.
