About the Film
After his daughter is kidnapped by a ruthless criminal network and abandoned by corrupt police, Wang Wei (Xie Miao) unleashes a one-man rampage to bring her home. His only ally: Navin (Joe Taslim), a relentless journalist whose own wife has mysteriously vanished. Fueled by furious vengeance, the unlikely duo tears through a violent criminal underworld in an explosive martial arts showdown that never lets up.
Directed by Kenji Tanigaki — the acclaimed stuntman-turned-filmmaker behind Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In — and featuring an all-star cast of martial arts legends including Yayan Ruhian and JeeJa Yanin (The Raid, Chocolate), The Furious has already taken the festival circuit by storm with official selections at the Toronto International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival, among others.
