While Arizona State football is still enjoying its offseason, head coach Kenny Dillingham has taken on a new hobby: designing tattoos.
Though it’s not a permanent role, Dillingham is helping fulfill a promise from an Arizona State fan last season.
An X user by the name of Drew vowed to get a foot tattoo of Dillingham’s nickname if the Sun Devils reached the College Football Playoff. Update: they did.
His one request upon fulfilling his side of the bargain? For Dillingham to send over his signature for the inking.

Twenty-four hours later — and after some help from ASU fans — the head coach responded with a better idea: “SunDevil4Life.”
What seemed unlikely has now turned into a reality for Drew.
There is no update on when Drew will get his tattoo, though he is not opposed to adding on if Arizona State were to win the championship this season.

Many believed that the Sun Devils would not make the College Football Playoff prior to the 2024 season. After all, they were picked last in the Big 12 preseason poll.
