Week 3 injuries have made the fantasy football waiver wire especially important heading into Week 4. Braelon Allen (RB – NYJ): 18% Rostered

Analysis: Breece Hall left the Jets’ Week 3 loss to the Lions with a quad injury and did not return. He is reportedly week to week. While he’s out, Braelon Allen should have considerable near-term value.
A bruising runner with a 6-1, 235 pound frame, Allen is built to handle a heavy load. He’s averaged 3.7 yards on 129 career rushing attempts, with four touchdown runs. Allen isn’t completely stone-handed, but he has only 25 receptions over 24 career games.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn had talked before the season about a potential three-pronged running game with Hall, Allen and Isaiah Davis sharing work, but Davis hasn’t played an offensive snap this season and has been exclusively a special-teams contributor.
Allen has a couple of favorable matchups ahead, with a road game against the Bears in Week 4 and a home game against the Browns in Week 5. Check the prognosis on Hall and scale bidding on Allen accordingly.

Analysis: RB De’Von Achane tore his ACL in Miami’s Week 3 loss to Kansas City and will miss the rest of the season, creating a huge void in the Dolphins’ backfield.
After Achane left in the first quarter, Ollie Gordon took over as the Dolphins’ lead back, played 61 snaps, and finished with 17-41-1 rushing and 3-14-0 receiving on three targets. No other Miami halfback played a snap on Sunday. Jaylen Wright was inactive after sustaining a stinger and a foot injury in Week 2.
Wright was a fourth-round pick in 2024. Gordon was a sixth-round pick in 2025. Last year, it was sometimes hard to discern which of Wright and Gordon was the No. 2 behind Achane and which was No. 3.
At 6-2, 225 pounds, Gordon is built for a heavy workload. As a sophomore at Oklahoma State in 2023, he led the nation with 1,732 rushing yards and 21 touchdown runs. His performance fell off in 2024, and he slipped into Day 3 of the draft.
Gordon has logged only 90 career rushing attempts and is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry.
Gordon is first in line to replace Achane, but the presence of Wright can’t be ignored. It might not take much for the pecking order to change, or for the Miami backfield to become a value-killing timeshare.
It’s also wise to acknowledge the limitations of the Miami offense. The Dolphins are averaging 12 points a game. With Miami’s passing game among the most impotent in the league, opposing safeties can creep closer to the line of scrimmage without fear of being beaten deep.
RB-needy managers can justify a hearty bid on Gordon, but they should realize there are multiple ways in which that investment could turn sour.

Analysis: First-round rookie Kenyon Sadiq turned in an eye-opening performance in Week 3, with 7-105-1 against the Lions on eight targets.
Sadiq’s 24-yard touchdown was a thing of beauty — a diving catch with a high degree of difficulty. Sadiq also had a 43-yard reception on Sunday and was prominently involved in the Jets’ passing game.
The Lions have been getting torched through the air, and Sadiq’s Week 3 performance was no doubt aided by the absence of Lions safeties Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph. It’s also worth noting that the Jets were without WR Adonai Mitchell, who was scratched due to a finger injury. That enhanced the target environment for Sadiq.
Still, Sadiq could have staying power for fantasy. The 16th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, Sadiq is a freak athlete with 4.39 speed and a 43 1/2-inch vertical jump. His college production at Oregon wasn’t dazzling, but Sadiq’s potential was evident, and his early emergence for the Jets is a pleasant surprise.
Sadiq looks like a gem. Ups and downs are inevitable for every tight end not named Trey McBride, but Sadiq offers appealing upside that TE-hungry fantasy managers might want to consider chasing.
