The Phoenix Suns on Wednesday revealed an orange-centric alternate court for 2024 NBA Cup games.
It features several different tints of orange, with two circle silhouettes and a PHX wash logo making for a busy layout.
The border is black with a purple and orange gradient spanning the two coaching boxes.

As it was a year ago, imagery of the NBA Cup trophy sits in the lanes and at midcourt. A classic Suns logo is at center court.

It’s a sidestep from the court the Suns designed for the inaugural season of the NBA Cup, which was rebranded from the NBA In-Season Tournament.
The Suns paired their “El Valle” jerseys with a purple and teal court last season. The NBA has done away with a standard differentiating color running the width of the paint across the entire court and replaced it with the pair of circles.
Other teams across the league have created uniqueness in the court designs with their wash tints that Phoenix used to display its PHX logo. For example, the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks each have a city skyline in a different tint along the bottom of their court. The Boston Celtics have a larger pattern of a parquet floor as their wash design.
The Charlotte Hornets have a honeycomb pattern, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have literal timber — trees — as theirs.
Phoenix’s first NBA Cup game is Nov. 12 at Utah, while it will debut the orange court on Tuesday, Nov. 26, against the Los Angeles Lakers.
