Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Naquan Jones is questionable to return against the Miami Dolphins due to a thigh issue, the team announced Sunday.
With Jones sidelined, Arizona’s defensive line gets that much thinner already down starters Justin Jones, Bilal Nichols and Roy Lopez.
If Jones can’t return, Dante Stills, L.J. Collier, Khyiris Tonga and Ben Stille figure to make up the defensive line rotation the rest of the way.
Stills has already made a play, strip-sacking Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the first quarter.
Despite Stills’ effort, Miami managed to regain possession and score on their opening drive.
The Cardinals trail the Dolphins, 10-7, in the second quarter.
Arizona got on the board with a six-yard touchdown strike from quarterback Kyler Murray to wide receiver Michael Wilson.
Murray was a perfect 5-of-5 for 58 yards and the score on the drive.
