Arizona junior linebacker Jacob Manu was ejected for targeting with 13:06 left in the first quarter vs. No. 14 BYU.
He tackled BYU running back Hinckley Ropati, and after a review, was given a personal foul penalty for targeting and was ejected. He’ll miss the remainder of the game.

The Wildcats’ defense forced a punt on BYU’s opening drive amid Manu’s ejection. Manu, a captain who leads Arizona with 42 total tackles, will remain on the sideline for the rest of the game.
Arizona is up 7-0 after a Noah Fifita 14-yard touchdown pass to Montana Lemonious-Craig. The Wildcats are looking to rebound after their loss to Texas Tech last week.
Fifita is 3-for-6 with 68 yards along with one carry for 11 yards. Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan has one reception for 39 yards.
