It’s been a very promising start to Jared Verse’s career with the Los Angeles Rams. Though he only has one sack thus far, he’s undoubtably been one of the best edge rushers in the entire league.
The NFL announced on Thursday that Verse has been named NFC Defensive Rookie of theof the Month for September. He has 19 total tackles, one sack and a forced fumble, with five of those tackles going for a loss.
The 19th overall pick has been stellar for the Rams and one of the real bright spots on defense. He had 1.5 sacks taken away from him in Week 4 because of penalties on teammates, too, so he could easily have 3.5 sacks on the year.
