ASU’s Jordyn Tyson not listed as a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist

Jordyn Tyson was not among the 13 semifinalists for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award that will be given to the nation’s best pass-catcher, regardless of position.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation Inc. announced the semifinalists Monday.

Consideration for the Biletnikoff Award only takes into account on-field performance during the season, and the hamstring injury that has held Tyson out for the last three games is most likely why he was not selected.

Even with his injury, Tyson is still tied for 21st in the nation with 57 receptions and tied for 10th with eight touchdowns. He’s been averaging 11 yards per catch and has accumulated 628 receiving yards this season. He is considered one of the best eligible receivers, if not the top prospect, for the 2025 NFL Draft.

The semifinalists, finalists and the award recipient are voted on by a committee of 600 college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners and other former receivers.

The award also contains a fan vote, which counts as one vote for the semifinalists, finalists and winner. Fans can vote once per day.

In 2024, Travis Hunter took home the Biletnikoff award, with Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan being selected as a finalist. Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was a finalist behind Jalen Hyatt in 2022 before winning the award in 2023.
