ASU’s Moe Odum named to Maui Invitational All-Tournament Team

Arizona State guard Moe Odum was named to the Maui Invitational All-Tournament Team on Thursday.

Odum was named to the All-Tournament team, along with USC and tournament MVP Chad Baker-Mazara, Washington State’s Ace Glass, Seton Hall’s AJ Staton-McCray, USC’s Ezra Ausar and Texas’ Dailyn Swain.

Odum was a standout for an ASU in the tournament averaging 26.3 points, four assists and two rebounds a game. Odum’s best game occurred against Texas, where the senior guard shot 7 of 21 and 6 of 12 from 3-point rage and scored 36 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer in the Sun Devils’ 87-86 win.

The Sun Devils reached the tournament final, but lost to USC 88-73 on Wednesday.

Odum has been off to a good start this season, averaging 19.6 points, six assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.

ASU’s next game

Following the Maui Invitational, the Sun Devils’ next game will be in the Jerry Colangelo Classic at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix against the Oklahoma Sooners on Dec. 6.

Tipoff for ASU-Oklahoma is at 8 p.m.
