The Los Angeles Rams have informed Cooper Kupp that they’re looking to trade him in the very near future, news that Kupp broke himself on Monday. Kupp made it clear that he doesn’t agree with the decision and thought he would finish his career with the Rams, but the team seems set on moving on – whether that’s via trade or potentially even releasing him if they can’t find a team to take on his contract.
There should be teams interested in acquiring the receiver, given the league-wide need for talent at the position, but some offenses and situations fit him better than others. That’s especially true considering the Rams are going to work with Kupp to find the best landing spot for him and his family.
DraftKings Sportsbook has odds for Kupp’s next team and two AFC North squads are at the top of the board. The Commanders, Patriots, Chargers, Broncos and Cowboys are all among the favorites, as well.
Below is every team with odds +2500 or shorter at DraftKings, via Sportsbook Review.
- Steelers: +500
- Bengals: +500
- Commanders: +600
- Patriots: +600
- Chargers: +600
- Broncos: +600
- Cowboys: +800
- Bills: +1300
- Rams: +1500
- Ravens: +1500
- Texans: +2000
- Packers: +2000
- Lions: +2000
- Cardinals: +2500
There are plenty of teams that make logical sense for Kupp, including the Steelers and Bengals, who both need wide receiver help – particularly if Cincinnati loses Tee Higgins in free agency. The Texans could also be a good landing spot after Nick Caley was hired as their offensive coordinator, and the Bills are always looking for ways to improve around Josh Allen.
