Cardinals raise more than $2 million in inaugural Cardinals Climb charity event

The Cardinals raised more than $2 million in the inaugural Cardinals Climb charity event on Saturday for the Valley’s special needs community.

The event garnered more than 3,500 participants for the fundraiser where individuals hiked the stairs at State Farm Stadium before making their way onto the field.

The fundraiser supported four of the Cardinals’ beneficiaries: Barrow Neurological Foundation, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, Special Olympics Arizona and Treasure House.

Nearly 200 teams took part in the event, including a team made up of Arizona Sports 98.7’s Ron Wolfley, Dave Burns and Tyler Drake. The trio all made the trek up the stadium stairs to support the special needs community.

A plethora of Cardinals legends also participated in the event, including Kurt Warner.

Current Cardinals Trey McBride, Michael Wilson and Darius Robinson also took part in the climb.
