ASU football added another defensive piece to its 2026 recruiting class and its first linebacker.
Linebacker Oscar Aguilar announced his commitment to the Sun Devils on Tuesday morning.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder out of Downey High School played on both sides of the ball until focusing on defense this past season.
In 2024, Aguilar contributed to a Downey team that went 9-2 and finished first in the Gateway league at 5-0.
The three-star prospect was second on the team in total tackles (102) and sacks (4.0). His 14 tackles for loss led the Vikings, alongside a team-high five forced fumbles.
