Devin Booker’s trip to China isn’t just about two preseason games against the Brooklyn Nets. It’s the Phoenix Suns star’s opportunity to connect with a basketball-obsessed nation.
And maybe the one person who represents Booker’s international marketing power is Aluo Luolin, whose fandom of Booker goes to another level.
Luolin is known as “Chinese Booker” because the haircut and basketball moves mirror Booker so closely.
The Suns star finally got to meet “China Book” in person after Phoenix’s 132-127 overtime win over the Nets in Macao on Friday.
The interaction you didn't know you needed to see.

Luolin created a viral video earlier this year when he put on a Booker Suns jersey and showed off his skillset on a brick basketball court with a background of lush mountains.

“A lot of people had sent it to me. I immediately found a way to touch base and wanted to make sure that he had a pair of Books,” Booker said in a video before the Suns were off to visit China.
“Never in my life would I think I’d have an impact or influence that would reach the other side of the world. That’s the power of this game.”

Booker thought it would be a long shot to cross paths with Luolin, but the viral hooper made his way to Macao and ended up being gifted the Suns guard’s game jersey.
Booker also brushed shoulders with former soccer star David Beckham and action star Jackie Chan.
