The Phoenix Mercury have ruled All-Star forward Satou Sabally out for Game 4 of the WNBA Finals on Friday against the Las Vegas Aces with a concussion.
The Mercury trail the series 3-0 and will have to survive another day without their leading scorer.
Sabally exited Wednesday’s Game 3 in Phoenix after hitting her head on the knee of Las Vegas’ Kierstan Bell while falling to floor. She had been tangled up with Jackie Young after missing a shot, causing her to lose her balance. Young was called for a loose-ball foul.

Sabally immediately grabbed her head and remained down for several minutes before being helped to the locker room.
Sabally had scored 24 points before leaving with 4:26 left in the fourth quarter and the Mercury down by 10 points.
Phoenix mounted a 17-point comeback to tie the game in the final two minutes, but Aces superstar A’ja Wilson hit the game-winning shot in the final second.
Sabally had scored at least 19 points in seven of Phoenix’s last eight playoff games. She has scored the third most points during these playoffs, trailing only Wilson and Young.
The 27-year-old made the All-Star team this season, her first with the Mercury after an offseason trade from the Dallas Wings. She averaged 16.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game during the regular season.
The Mercury will look to stave off elimination shorthanded on Friday at 5 p.m. MST from Mortgage Matchup Center.
