Fantasy Football Start’em, Sit’em Lineup Advice: Tre Tucker, Jaylin Noel, Aaron Rodgers

Here’s Pat Fitzmaurice’s fantasy football Week 7 outlook for a few players to help with lineup decisions.

Tre Tucker (WR – LV)

Tre Tucker will draw waiver attention this week after putting up 5-97-2 on seven targets against the Bills in Week 6.

Tucker has had a couple of splashy games, including a 5-119-1 performance against the Chargers in Week 2. But his floor has been surprisingly sturdy. Tucker has caught at least four passes and has topped 40 receiving yards in five consecutive games.

The Rams present a tough matchup in Week 7, but Tucker is nevertheless playable in a four-team bye week.

    Jaylin Noel (WR – HOU)

Second-year WR Jaylin Noel had the first 100-yard game of his career on Sunday, catching 4-of-4 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars in London. Noel had a 13-yard touchdown on Sunday and has scored a TD in each of his last two games.

The arrival of Marvin Harrison Jr. via trade complicates the target outlook for Noel. Harrison played with Texans QB C.J. Stroud at Ohio State, so they have some chemistry. The Texans’ Nico Collins is often a target hog, of course. Xavier Hutchinson is also involved, and Tank Dell could return this week from the catastrophic knee injury he sustained in December 2024.

But Noel figures to remain the Texans’ primary slot receiver even after Dell comes back. A third-round pick out of Iowa State in 2025, Noel is an exceptional athlete who clocked a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine and had a vertical jump of 41 1/2 inches.

Over his last three games, Noel has caught 12-of-12 targets for 233 yards and two touchdowns. He would have to grow his target share to become consistently fantasy-relevant, but Noel is an ascending player worth rostering in case he’s on the verge of a breakthrough.

    Aaron Rodgers (QB – PIT)

Aaron Rodgers has thrown multiple passes in four straight games, and he’s thrown for 235 or more yards in four straight games. The 42-year-old QB has averaged 38.5 pass attempts per game over that stretch.

      The old man is dealing.

Rodgers faces a mediocre Saints defense this week, then gets a rematch with the Browns. In Week 4, Rodgers was 22-of-40 for 299 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Pittsburgh’s 27-24 road loss in Cleveland.

Rodgers is a fine streaming option for the next two weeks.
